Photos: Plateau Gov. Lalong holds meeting with Igbos and Hausa community leaders after unrest in some parts of Jos

The Plateau State Governor,  Simon Bako Lalong, held a meeting with Igbos and Hausa community leaders after the unrest in some parts of Jos the state capital. The meeting held at the new government house Rayfield on Friday 15th September, 2017.

Governor Simon Lalong regretted the death of two persons in the unfortunate incidence and also condoled with the families, noting that he was compelled to impose curfew and will take even stiffer security measures if he doesn't get the necessary cooperation from community leaders.
The minister of interior Abdulrahaman Danbazau also joined the meeting. Dambazau said he is in Jos for facts finding mission and to sympathize with plateau state following the incident in Bassa LGA and skirmishes in Jos. While commending Governor Simon Bako Lalong for the quick response, gave assurance for a peaceful October 1st Independence day celebration
