Photos: Gov Lalong's 3rd year anniversary thanksgiving service of the Rescue administration in Plateau State

Gov Simon Lalong has thanked the people of the state for contributing to the return of peace on the Plateau, urging all to continue to pray for its sustenance.

The Governor stated this in goodwill message at the 3rd year anniversary thanksgiving service of the Rescue administration held in Government House Chapel Rayfield, Jos.

Gov Simon Lalong commended members of the National Assembly from Plateau State for working in unity towards progress of the state irrespective of party differences.

Earlier in a sermon, the Plateau State Chairman of CAN, Rev. Dr. Soje Bewarang  while taking his reading from 1 Thessalonians 4:18, urged christian faithfuls to live a life of gratitude.

He enjoined Christians to continue to pray for the safety and release of Leah Sheribu and others still under the captivity of their abductors.

In his welcoming remarks, Rev. Fr. David Ajang, Chaplain of Government House Chapel, emphasised the importance of showing appreciation at all times.

Goodwill messages were delivered given by Sen Joshua Dariye, Senator and former Governor, Hon Latep Dabang, APC State Chairman, Hon Peter Azi,  Speaker of the State Assembly, Justice Yakubu Gyang Dakwak, the Chief Judge, Da Jacob Gyang Buba, the Gbong Gwom Jos and Chairman Plateau State traditional council,

The Democracy Day commenced on friday with the Juma'at prayers, followed by Golf Tournament on Safurday at the Lamingo Golf Club Jos.
