Dorothy Mato Foundation Flags Off Free Medical Services

The member of the House of Representatives for Vandeikya/Konshisha Federal Constituency of Benue State, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Dorothy Mato yesterday through her Dorothy Mato  Foundation flagged off free medical services for the good and transparent people of her constituency.


Rev. Dr. Mato among other Rev fathers blessed the occasion so that God will lead the way in the medical outreach.

The Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom was represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr. Terwase Orbunde who graced the occasion.

Sen. (Dr) Jacob Gyado whom Hon Mato considered as one of those who laid the foundation for her political career ushered the constituents to the free medical outreach with prayer and tape-cutting.

Mr. Bala Bagu, the youth leader of Zone A applauded Rep. Mato for her impact on her constituency. He admonished Kunav and Jechira youths to shun violence for peace to prevail. He called for more support for Rep. Mato so that she will do more if reelected.

Tor Jechira, Clement Kpareghfa Uganden thanked Gov. Ortom, represented by Mr. Iorbunde his Chief of Staff and Hon. Mato for the impact made.

Sen. Gyado in his speech said Rep Mato has done well and deserves another chance and that Kunav should continue to support her so that she will win 2019 election and continue with the good work.

In her speech, Mrs Mato appreciated everyone who attended the occasion and admonished youths to shun thuggery as it brings violence and destabilizes democracy. She appealed to her constituents to continue to give her their support.

She said that the free medical services will be done from ward to ward, kindred to kindred and house to house in Jechira.

The representative of the gov, Mr Orbunde appreciated Hon Mato and said that the wishes of the people will be communicated to the gov.

The occasion was also graced by the Vandeikya LGC Chairman, Hon. Dennis Akura; Vandeikya APC Chairman, Alh. Abubakar Sear Ihongo; Hon. Boniface; Mrs Helen Bendega among others.

The occasion was brought to a close by Arch  Joe Kyagba with prayer and thanks to Rep Mato and all those who made the occasion a success.
